Welcome!

The title of the blog comes from a Biblical passage that say, "There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end is the way of death." My path did indeed lead to death--not my own, but for the lives of others. Since my arrest in 1995, I have become a Christian and feel responsible to reach out to others who may be experiencing some of the things I did when I was 18. That is the purpose of this blog.
I decided it was time for me to tell my own account of the events of 1995 which led to my arrest and sentence of life without parole. Reporters have done a poor job printing rumors and inaccuracies over the years. There are two people writing books about it, but they have both been sidetracked by the connection to Oliver Stone's movie, Natural Born Killers. The blame being place on the movie was an invention of defense lawyers for Sarah Edmondson (my co-defendant) to use in case a plea bargain could not be reached.
The Bible says the truth will set you free. Sometime the truth is hard to face, but hiding from it only ends in death.

I"m glad you have decided to do this little Beaner. All these years your friends have wondered what happened and what we could have done to prevent it, at least I have. I'm proud of you and your courage. Hopefully this will reach someone who needs to read it. I think about you often. Hong Dai!

I am glad that you are finally the one telling your story. I have kept it to myself all these years and find that it a relief that you are able to share it yourself. I hope your experiences will be of help and hope to someone else who hopefully will be prevented from having to learn all you have learned the "hard way" You are truly amazing and I love you very much!

u have gave ur life to God who is ultimately the final judge and jury. what anyone else has to say means nuthin. i also was incarcerated at a young age so i know we dont always use consequential thinking when we are young ppl. keep praying! you never know god may have a plan for u to walk free again and preach his word! its sad that sarah gets to walk free and u dont, i will gladly sign any petition and support your freedom.
